- Public Health England has produced guidance on 'Place-based approaches for reducing health inequalities' which includes a guide to 'Data on health inequalities'. Further to this, PHE in collaboration with the Local Government Association (LGA), Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH), and NHS England and NHS Improvement, have collated a suite of resources relating to health inequalities and COVID-19 to support place-based approaches to planning and responding to the pandemic, while mitigating against potential impacts on those with the poorest health outcomes, available here.
- PHE’s syndromic surveillance unit produces a weekly update of data on trends in attendance at Emergency Departments, broken down by age and medical condition, which could be used to inform understanding of how people are changing the way they access services.

- University of Cumbria survey (n=330 to date) and review of partners wider data (n=10,300) as to the biopsychosocial impact of covid-19 on different groups of people.
