  • This study identified 6 modes of delivery used in CYP digital mental health interventions (1) websites, (2) games and computer-assisted programs, (3) apps, (4) robots and digital devices, (5) virtual reality, and (6) mobile text messaging. 
  • The literature highlighted that CYP prefer digital health interventions with features such as videos, limited text, ability to personalize, ability to connect with others, and options to receive text message reminders.

Young people’s preferences for the use of emerging technologies for asymptomatic regular chlamydia testing and management: a discrete choice experiment in England

  • An assessment of the strength of preferences among young people (n=1230, aged 16-24) for attributes of emerging technologies for testing and treatment of asymptomatic chlamydia found that both test accuracy and very short intervals between testing and results were important factors for young people when deciding whether to undergo a routine test for asymptomatic chlamydia, with test accuracy being more important.
